The Corley family fled their homeland of Ireland
during the years of the great famine, ending up settling down in England for many years. It was throughout this period that
the next generation of the family was conceived, a lone daughter, Fiona. In London, where their home resided, the three generations,
her grandparents, parents and herself, lived in a modest situation, though they worked hard, and kept food on the table and
clothing on their backs. As Fiona grew up, she was obligated to go out into the world to locate a career as well, however,
the jobs for women her age were not exactly the most.. virtuous. In this point of history in London, paranormal events were
something that were very popular. The Corley female had seen a Medium work her 'magic' once before, and it was surprising
how easily the higher society flocked to her to learn of their deceased loved ones. After completing much research on the
matter, the young woman began to advertise her channeling services to the masses. Allowing people to have a sense of peace,
thinking that the loved ones that had already passed on were at rest and not lingering between worlds, was rather fulfilling
in itself, and Fiona really started to make this a career.
Those of noble blood and wealth beckoned her
to appointments in order to gain a bit of access into the ghost realm, to speak with their departed friends and family. The
money was pretty steady and good, enabling the rest of her family to travel back to Ireland, while she remained to continue
her investigations on the paranormal. Fiona's abilities to literally communicate with spirits are, in all actuality, false.
She cannot see or hear ghosts and spirits, though she does have the slight ability to 'sense' a presence. It has more to do
with an actual soul, per say. If an apparition is looming about a household, and their intends are good, Fiona seems to have
no worries of the matter, and reassures her client that all is well or vice versa. However, this also works with people. If
there is a person with ill intent, such as a murderer, or someone with a darkened heart, Fiona gains a sickened feeling, and
does not wish to be around them at all. This seems to be a bit stronger when beings such as Demons and Shinigami are present,
even if she has no clue that they are anything more than human.
Because of recent happenings with such other worldly beings and her possible connection to them, Fiona
was placed under surveillance by a Grim Reaper with a management position, William T. Spears. He tended to follow her around
as she took jobs and clients, to which she was merely idly aware of his presence. After he had gathered enough of the data
he required, he approached her, directly questioning her about certain events, Shinigami, and Demons that were around the
city. Much of this, the Corley was oblivious to, though by the way that William's intent was, and how he held him self and
was brutally honest about Demons and Reapers, Fiona saw him as a good person, more so a heavenly being sent to Earth to protect
her. Her 'Guardian Angel'. William denies all accusations of this, and being titled an 'Angel' is generally ignored. He has
told her, on more than one occasion that he is a Shinigami, though Fiona likes the idea of him being a beautiful Angel even
better.

[ Personality ]
Fiona is a very easily going person. She is often
cheerful and sweet, holding a great deal of compassion for the clients she gains. On the other hand, the Corley is quite honest
in a polite manner, and will constantly make note that if she were to say, or do something, that it could possibly render
her 'unlady-like'. More often than not, however, she does do, or say these things, and will immediately apologize after the
fact, trying to keep the status of a Lady. Fiona usually keeps a simple cane with her, which, when making a point or aiming
for attention, she will tap on the ground, or nudge certain people/objects with it.
