Izumi Hitsuji was originally from the Land of Cloud, though when she was still a baby, she was taken in by a young couple from Konohagakure. The reason for this was because they had located the child while on an assassination mission, and being as that she was alone, and there were obvious signs of struggle around her, it would seem that the ones caring for her had already been killed. The pair took compassion on her and brought her home, raising her as their own little one. To this day, Izumi has no idea of the fact.

Upon graduating the shinobi academy, Izumi became part of Team 2, consisting of Takigahara Shikei, Hiwajima yukimaru, and their sensei, her uncle, Hitsuji Moushin. During their third year of training together, and by much persuasion, Moushin agreed to place his team into the Chuunin exams. Izumi was the second of her team to reach Chuunin ranking, directly after Shikei, much to her Uncle's pride.

Izumi spends her much of her time, when she can, back at the Academy, helping the sensei teach the younger children the ninja basics that will use later on in life. Her favorite part would have to be the field play and outdoor assignments, however, never really being the kind of person to like to be cooped up inside for too long.

[ Personality ]

Izumi is quite outspoken and blunt, but doesn't really know when to stop running her mouth either. She can easily hurt people's feelings without meaning to, but she isn't exactly a rude person, just lacking.. tact. Resembling a ram, or more so a Dall sheep, Izumi can also be very stubborn when she wants to be, when things don't go her way, or when she is found weaker than her opponent. She will not back down from much of anything at all, even if the odds are against her. it might not be the smartest thing to do, but that is how she is.
